Ah, where to begin.
I have two pugs at home. One of them is named Snoopy and the other one is named Woodstock. My two boys named them. I love my dogs and they both sleep in my bed every night. Unfortunately they bark all the time and because I live in a busy neighborshood right by an elementary school it can be nonestop. Kids, buses, postal workers, delivery guys, neighbors, you name it. They liked to bark at everything and it was becoming too annoying to handle.
A friend of mine gave me a suggestion. He had heard of these special collars that were designed to stop dogs from barking a lot. I do not think he had much of an idea about what they were but I looked online anyway. I researched “anti bark collars” on Google and found out what they were. The next day my friend and I went to Petco and bought one. I would have bought one online, and gotten it cheaper, but I wanted the insanity to end, now!
Amazingly it worked. My dogs stopped barking. It was a rough couple days but the collars did what they were supposed to. I tried to get all my friends to follow suite bit most of them failed to follow instructions.
Some of them did not leave the collar on while others felt bad for their dog after they got shocked a couple times.
C’est domage, as the french say, because these bark control collars really do work if you use them right.
