It has been my experience that anti bark collars work best on smaller animals. That is not to say that they do not work on larger dogs but it may just take a little longer. If you put an anti bark collar on a pug, maltese, chihuahua, or terrier it will work great. First these types of dogs do not have thick hair. This is important. The anti bark collar has to be able to not only fit around the neck but have some contact with the skin. Otherwise it is useless and the anti bark collar will not work properly. Second, and this is common sense, but since the dogs are smaller shock from the bark collar is going to give them more of a jolt. They are going to feel the shock more.

What I do not get is why most people have not got one. Some feel that it is inhumane but I can’t understand that. How else are your dogs going to learn.
